A Kiss That Ended The World.

Lips drenched with pain
I’m left with the taste of Strawberry Ashes.

My neurons remember you

“You kiss like the world is ending.”

The soft texture of your skin

And then you said

It might as well.

Our bodies are disjointed

And they function only if we are apart.

The skunks appear tails raised willing to douse us with the stench of reality.

I’ve exchanged my Queen of cups with yours so you only know love.

We smoke too much together and it gets in my eyes.

But that kiss will be remembered

A monument of lightness

Long after the end.
