The Revealer

My                         angel came                        to me

          Shadow of her

unstrapped                    Velvet

                                                       Extensions

“Those left hanging”

Of mine to curve

                                                                                    The soft pout

and strobe effects

“I don’t know where you end or where I end”

Let this     be a sphere                                                             scented with dark music

                                    “Did you…

Hear that one before?”

“Never,

No one calls me a goddess”

And I’m silently

revealed.

Hi Roger, thanks for the comment. I just like making a poem as free as possible so it’s not restricted but also create multiple meanings with the words surrounding it. But as you said definitely make the reader do some mental exercise…ha-ha. Anyway, thank you for your thoughtful comment 🙂

The mystery behind this poem is compelling. I might have a different interpretation from what you have written though. But I felt that the person is talking to himself. The darkest corner of his mind and soul. Trapped and caged behind his masks only to be revealed when he is ready. Much love ❤

I think you’re definitely on the right on track on this one. I really prefer to make my stuff have as many interpretations as possible, it really depends on how you read it. Love your comments keep them coming..😃
