Your Shadow Grows

The flora was there to stalk us,

But now two of them

Stutterer of the bees,

Needled into

Looping with honey

In her Eyes

Inner Beauty

Within her Thighs

Wandering,

A vagabond enters…

Lover, sweet lips have failed you

And I know it was my name you stroked last night

Those petals spoke of me

It’s your air that gave you away

It was last night

That you gave away

Something unravels into us,

But are you mine to let go of?

And though I have an urge…

                                        I’m aware

your indifference is fulfilling itself again

Thank you so much for your thoughts. Yeah, this poem was really about how we own nothing not even the feelings we instill in other people. Really appreciate your comments keep them coming 🙂
